I hate the costume design it’s soo lazy they just copy and paste off the show it’s soo cringe. You can still have elements of the animated series for the design’s but you have to still add flavor to emerge the show better making it more “real” in a way. From the costumes and characters everything looks funky

The problem with movie critics is all they look for is to hate on a movie. If a movie entertains you, job accomplished. Honestly the writing is unbearable - Not Ncuti. I sat and watched it with a devote Dr Who fan and my BF and they both hated it because it just is TOO cringey now. It tries too hard to be funny and falls flat. The majority of fans are adults. I can understand if they try somewhat to aim towards new fans and kids but honestly the fans are in their late 20s to 30s. RTD was probably asked to write this way for American audiences as well as the show is insanely popular over there now and with Disney now involved...Wont be watching any more 😢

The first two episodes were ok, but the 3rd was absolute shite. The Maestro character particularly with the actor playing as if they were Jim Carey in Mask. An interesting premise maybe, but really badly executed. A truly awful "musical" episode even worse than the Greys Anatomy musical episode which was diabolical. The back story of Ruby's birth is the most interesting, and least (or badly) developed. I'll likely still watch in the hopes of it getting better but a huge raspberry to Episode 3.

Let's have a look at Christopher Nolan. Christopher Nolan and I have no doubt about that, will go down in movie history as the greatest filmmaker of our time. Why? Because all his movies are flawless and there is nothing to criticize? No. A lot of his films have flaws and not all his films are universally beloved. Take Tenet for example. Tenet received pretty mixed reviews. Some saying, that the plot was too convoluted, some saying, that the characters were too bland. But how did Nolan react to that? Did he attack his fans? Did he call them racist for not liking it? I mean, he could have. The Protagonist in Tenet was black after all. No. He took this criticism and he came back bigger and stronger than ever with Oppenheimer, three years later.

I don't like it very much. What I saw for now stories are very poor. Acting is bad, for my dw lost it's charm. Doctor is very goofy, unlikable, (yes, doctor can be like a child sometime) but this is just too much. No emotions just all time hahaha fun fun fun like kids playground. Ruby no personality whatsoever. (I can't think of anything about her and I'm trying really hard)And when it comes to serious moments...they just don't work. No build up to it. Idk, but in the first episode I was so annoyed because he kept repeating 'space babies' omg I was never that annoyed. Second episode was a little more interesting but still very mediocre. Villian was ok (good acting), score was good. The whole plot idea around Ruby that she is very important is just not very convincing for me. Will I continue to watch? Yes, out of curiosity. So yeah, conclusion it's not for larger audience but rather targeted younger group of people .
